    vostro 1400 with XP... can i change cpu power (min-max) settings?

    1400 came with vista and it had a good power management setting. I had the ability to change settings for CPU, WIFI...etc.

    In XP I downloaded the Dell Quickset for XP and here are the power management settings...

    When I pull the power adapter, my CPU speeds cuts down by half 781mhz.
