first of all..i cant get the usb ports working in windows xp..

the devices receive power when in the bios mode but once i boot into xp the usb power seems to go away..

in my device manager it has a bunch of yellow exclamation points that say usb root hub

i have installed the chipset drivers and cannot seem to figure out what i am doing wrong

my 2nd problem is, since i switched to xp from vista i cant seem to figure out how to get back the power saving program that would let you set your lcd brightness level when on battery vs plugged in etc

any help would be greatly appreciated
