Im curious, how many people have grainy screens with their wsxga+ screens?
I already got my 2nd replacement for my vostro 1500 with a wxga+ screen and its grainy again. Im thinking about just getting the wsxga+ screen but wanted to see if there are any problems with those screens.

How do you tell? I mean mine is not glossy, so you can see some little things there, but only if you look carefully at them. When you read text you stare at the next, not the grains.

I really can't figure out how grainy is mine.

my 1500 laptop LCD is crisp, but external LCD is grainy when out with the 128 NVidia card.

Currently got a grainy SEC screen. In the UK and awaiting Dell to restock the LG version to which I am down for having as a replacement.

Will be chasing up again this week.

My LG WSXGA+ is freaking stunning. One of the nicest displays I have seen in 20 years of computing.

It is almost as crisp as the original 512x384 screens of the Mac Plus!

Bioshock looks like a joy in 1600x1000.
