    vostro 1500 wireless limited connectivity

    hi the wireless function on the laptop has worked flawlesly out of the box untill today i turn it on and just sits on limited connectivity. its stragne because it finds the network and says signal strength excellent but limited connectivity. so using ethernet cable atm untill i can sort this out. any help would be much apreciated.

    ive updated teh drivers too, still no joy. i really need this function to work and i dont wanna ring dell :p anyone have a clue?

    tried the basics such as....?

    1. restarting router.
    2. restarting pc.
    3. turning wireless off then on again?

    sure you didnt disable any startup programs related to wireless?

    yep tried all that. its working now anyways. disbale network encryption and reenabled it then it worked. also read that disabling ipv6 can help and since i dont use it i did :)
