    Hi,
    Has anyone put in 4G in a vostro 1700 notebook? I have the t7700 cpu and I bought GEIL brand 2x2G paired memory and even my second pair is having problems. I rma'ed the first pair and they verified that it had errors but now they're saying the new pair has been tested for 2 days and it should have no errors.

    If any 4G upgrade worked for anyone, what was the brand?

    I'm wondering how the same will work for me with my Inspiron 1520. XP is limited to 3gb

    i have vista ultimate 64 on this machine. with xp 32 bit, you should see around 3.5G of the 4G.
