This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    So, I got a broken comp replaced with a v1500 (great!) with TWO 9-cell batteries... but on my old comp they didn't stick out. Anyone interested in a swap - my unused 2nd 9-cell for a 6-cell+something boston-area? or, anyone have advice for a better way to do this than sell one on ebay and buy the other?
