i ordered a vostro 1400 9 days and it is still in production... is this normal? when i ordered, the preliminary ship date was 8/16 but if people order now, it is 8/10. i am really confused here... i ordered the smartpackge with true life lcd screen and web cam. i guess what i am asking is why are the earlier orders' prelinminary ship date longer than the later orders and is it normal for my laptop to still be in production? i am in usa by the way

Mine was in the build stage for like a 10 days, until yesterday when it moved thru kitting and testing. Now it's in boxing. My estimated shipping date is 8/1/07, so today. They won't make it, but it's not like they're missing it by a lot.
