what's the biggest difference between the two?
i just started school and need a laptop to fit my school AND gaming needs (mainly source games or FFXI), and need something a little lightweight and easy to carry around.
will this vostro 1400 be well enough, or should i just wait for another inspiron coupon?

Not sure if it's an option for you, but I'd want to bump up that video card to the 8600 GT, especially for gaming. I'd also try to up the hard drive to 7200 RPM.

Just bought the 1400... literally can't wait for it to arrive.
