    weird shipping?

    i just noticed that my orders are separated. i ordered my laptop and thats one order number, and my bag and usb hard drive are another order number.... but whats weird is that my hd x-fi sound card says its shipped with the bag and usb? is that normal? :confused:

    It's wierd, but I suppose it's possible. I'm guessing they're just different parts from different warehouses. It's not surprising really, they probably just have a separate distribution center for anything they don't manufacture.

    but it still means that its already gonna be in the lappy right? haha i dont want to get a random piece of hardware not installed. could that be why it took a month(still waitin since 7/14) for it to build?

    I think that particular sound card plugs into the mini card or express card slot or whatever on the outside. I don't think it's internal.

    Just to confirm that Karan1003 is correct, the sound device is not an internal component of the notebook, so it will ship separately. You'll probably get your accessories before you get your notebook.
