    I think it's worse than the Samsung NC10.

    I'd stick with a traditional laptop for college use. Netbooks are more or less companion computers right now. They are good for mobility, but you definitely don't want to have to spend many hours at it typing up term papers.

    The ssd is very slow. But otherwise it is nice. Keyboard is too small for me to type normally on.

    I'm getting it..but I won't be using it for school!

    For me, it's a companion Netbook...something I can throw in a protective sleeve into my handbag...and GO! :D More for mobility, net usage..when I'm out and about..or relaxing somewhere :D

    So, I don't know if you would necessarily want to use it for school or not...Would you want to use it for taking notes???

    go with the nc10, the dell is rather cute though
