    is this just some software? or do you have a different soundchip compared to w/o when ordering with this option?

    also can you upgrade to the "audigy" by buying the software seperately from e.g. a store or what? i doubt for only 24$ they insert a completely different soundchip....

    Is this software transferrable? I just bought a XPS M1330 and wish to install Windows XP on it and was wondering if I could somehow transfer it. I bought the laptop with it on there.

    You can transfer the software. It was made for XP first before creative created a Vista compatible version (like 4 months after Vista's release lol)
