    i have a inspiron 640m and i just want to know what's the media direct is use for and how do you use it?

    yah, but when my laptop is off and i press the media direct,it just does the same as pushing the power button.

    Doesn't the first screen say Media Direct?

    Someone must have reformatted your laptop and erased the Media Direct program.

    Don't worry, you're probably not missing out on much anyways..
