    hi i just ordered an xps m1530 with the following screen;

    "High Resolution glossy widescreen 15.4 inch LCD(1680x1050) & 2MP Camera"

    is there anyway of knowing if I will be getting the LG or the Samsung?

    look at the part number and then serch the threads for someting like "M1530 screens" and find someone who has posted part numbers along with the screen types.
