This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    what screen filter -- glare only?

    I just bought a Dell 1420 with the glossy screen display, which is sharp and lovely -- but also subject to glare in a big way. I don't need a pricey privacy screen, just a simple anti-glare filter that fits on/over my 14.1" screen without hassle. Any suggestions -- or references to a review/rating site [which I have been able to find thru various Google searches, really] Thanks.
