    Is there even such a thing as a 6x Blu-Ray? I've never heard of more than a 4x Blu-Ray, even in desktop drives. A lack of existence would explain the difficulty in finding one.

    They do have some 5.25 6x Blu-Ray drives. They are around $230 on Newegg. I don't seem any slot loading slim ones though, so you'd have to buy this directly from Dell or on eBay. Doubt it is 6x though.

    Actually, it is 6x. I haven't seen it retail so you might need to check for the part # and look on ebay.

    Dell wouldn't relinquish the part # to you? The only ones I have seen in the slim factor are 2x and tray loading.
