    I am wanting to buy a new xps m170 and can only find them on ebay. Does anyone know of any other places to look? I can get one with 1gb 60gb harddrive 7200 rpm 2 grs 7800 gtx for $1600, is this the best Ill find? this is the buy it know price.

    www.dell.com/outlet is a place to start for a refurbised system...some are brand new, never opened since some where canceled after during the build process, etc.

    Ebay has new ones in boxes still, if you would like new.

    hey I have another question about this notebook. I noticed when these first came out they didnt have a dvd burner, now there are ones that do? was it added? Oh and one more thing, how hard or expensive is it to add more ram or bigger hard drive later on?

    Ha!! I am happy someone saw that!! I was at work, you can not believe how upset I was when I got home!! It was pushing not even meeting my reserve, and I kinda wish it didn't. The guy never even emailed me either, I wonder if he even has any idea what this computer is capable of :confused:

    Not to mention I needed the money to get the m1710. Don't know what I'm gonna do now!!
