Hi guys,
Just got my M1330 with the following specs:
C2D 2.2Ghz, 2GB RAM, 250GB HDD, 8400M GS, Vista Premium, Sound Blaster Audigy software, Crimson Red WLED, fingerprint reader, Bluetooth, Wireless (a/b/g) - came to INR 71900 (about US$ 1800) including shipping and taxes
I need to buy a wireless mouse, but something that'll work with the built in Bluetooth. I don't want to use up one of those two precious USB ports. Anyone have any good recommedations? (no extra features like zooming, presenter etc needed, laser or optical will do, something that's not too big, yet not too small to be used comfortably).
Another thing I've been looking for is a VGA to composite/S-video adapter so that I can hook up my TV to it. Needs to be shipped to India. (I don't have HDMI yet).
Thanks..

Microsoft 5000 mouse is a gd portable mouse... there is many gd ones though. You want portable I think its one of the best.

second part you want one of these... Use the VGA port and NOT the HDMI...

I got a $200 gift card with mine (I'm yet to receive it), and I'm going to purchase the Logitech MX5000 Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard/Mouse combo. It gets good reviews and I want the laser. I've also always favored Logitech mice, although Microsoft has impressed me with theirs as well. None of the other brands have ever done much for me.

hey thanks e2chris and Zahn1138,
I got the Microsoft Laser 8000 - works great (and comes with a hard carry case too).
e2chris - I got my hands on a cable similar to the one you suggested. But its not working. I connected the VGA to the laptop at one end and the composite (RCA, yellow) to the TV's AV input. When I try to switch to an external display, I just get a message on the laptop screen; ' no external display connected'
I took a pic
This is a high res pic of the same:

I tried connecting both ends of the VGA - tried with S-Video and with composite (and I even tried the third output, to the composite input of the TV)
I even tried with the Dell Mobility Center, but when I try to switch to external display - I get the same message - 'no external display connected'.
Any ideas, anyone? Any help much appreciated. -
I had absolutely no luck with a cable like that on my M1330. However I only tried it with old CRT TVs having only RCA inputs, maybe newer ones with S-Video will work. But not with those old ones (tried it with 3 TVs). However something like the following will work. Search for PC to TV in google/e-bay
I tried all sorts of things with that cable, it simply didn’t treat the output as a TV. The best I could do was to make it detect as an analog display (CRT monitor), but without a way to output using the correct TV system (NTSC) all I got was some wavy patterns on the screen. -
I was thinking of buying a bluetooth mouse - but I read about how it puts itself into standby when you dont use it for a few mins, meaning its not as responsive as a normal mouse........I may be wrong, and if I am I would also get a bluetooth mouse......

PhoenixFx - thanks. My TV is old, it just has RCA inputs. I guess I'll have to get a new TV with HDML now....
@ifti - I think all wireless peripherals (like keyboard and mice) have to have a power saving mode, else they'll drain out your batteries real fast.
The Bluetooth mouse I have (Microsoft Laser 8000), even has a physical on/off switch underneath to save power. But I haven't noticed any lag or anything - it's pretty responsive. -
which BT mouse for M1330
