    Hi
I know D830 is a buisiness config , but how does it do well in gaming ?
especially I want to compare VGA s in gaming:

"256M NVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M" VS "256M NVIDIA GEFORCE 8600GT"

256M NVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M = 256 MB NVIDIA 8400M GS (which sucks)

So yeah, go with the 8600GT

8600M GT. Period. I am a workstation design guy and a graphic designer freak as well and I use the 8600 to do my work as well. No problems. I don't need a Quadro (which is what stated here is apparently worst than 8600) to do it right. So get the 8600.

I have a Vostro 1700 and got the 8600 GT card. It runs rFactor which is a racing sim as good as the 7900GTO 512MB video card in my desktop. It's a great card. :D
