which xps m1330 configuration is a better deal?
both are refurbs with 2.2ghz with 64gb SSD, 4965 wireless, 9 cell battery, BT, nvidia graphics
a) tuxedo black, 3gb ram, LCD display, Vista Home Premium for 1526
b) crimson red, 4gb ram, LED display, Vista Ultimate for 1682
Thanks!
-
B for sure.
-
B, and also it's a special edition, so it will have a better resale value.
-
Definitely B...
-
Yeah, thats not too much more for the led +4gb. I would go with it. You will get more than that price difference back in a resale.
-
thanks all
-
who were the people who said A? I wonder if it was because they felt that the LED display isn't worth it.
-
...or are too cheap.
-
it's too bad they don't have anymore 15% off outlet coupons floating around or I could get B with only 3gb ram and vista premium for a couple hundred dollars less : (
-
hmm not sure if Outlet is worth it since they are all returns. you'll either get a CMO display, a whiny machine, poor build quality or any combination of the above... I personally don't think that's worth the $200 of savings... (likely less with the current deals)
-
that might be true, but the one LED I have coming has
"1 MM350 Module,Liquid Crystal Display 13.3WX,Light Emitting Diode TMD,M1330 " in the invoice, which I understand means Toshiba. If it's defective I'll just return it. It's a lot more savings than $200 if you factor in the SSD, more like 600-700 in savings -
Definetly agree...in purchase SSD is +600 alone. Congrats on the purchase.
-
Has anybody seen in person the product red color? Is it really different than the crimson?
-
64gb SSD ???
which config would you prefer?
