    The Inspiron 1500's are CTO. There's usually not a specific number unless it's one of the retail ones, in which case you're going to have to ask the retailer (though I don't know why it would matter).

    All Inspiron 1520s are the same laptop..it's just the hardware and specifications that vary. You could customize (well, before) a 1520 hundreds of different ways.

    There may be an associated E-Value code, but those are typically for a specific time frame.

    Otherwise, you'll just have to provide the specifications (or customize it online).
