    which inspiron screens are grainy?

    i have read many complaints on this forum about "grainy" screens on the inspiron . quite frankly, this is making me consider canceling my order as i did not pay $1000 for a grainy screen.

    which ones are having this problem? i ordered the 1440X900 glossy screen for the 1420. has anyone with this creen had the graininess and is it a big deal worth canceling over?

    1420 with 1440x900 glossy

    it is "grainy" but not a big deal for me and I do gaming, word, internet, photoshop

    oh and by "grainy" i hope people know its better described as "shiny oilyish pixels" that are more visible on white. darker colors - can't see any problems
