I have a month old Vostro 1400. I see the existing driver on my machine for the Dell Wireless 355 Bluetooth Module (Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR) is 6.0.6000.16398 21/06/2006. I checked Dell's site and the driver shown is 6.0.1.3100&FW216, A00 26/01/2007.

I tried to install the 'newer' one and was prompted to first uninstall the existing device. But in ADD/REMOVE I see only WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software 6.01.3100.

    I am confused.

First is the Dell site driver actually newer than mine?
And is the WIDCOMM software that I see in ADD/REMOVE the one I need to uninstall?
