I bought a Dell 1505 in March of this year. I finally gave up on Vista and installed a copy of XP. What a difference in performance! Anyway, I still have to install the driver for the wifi card. I don't remember which wifi card I have! As I recall, it wasn't the stock card, it was the next grade up. There were three choices, I got the middle one. Anyone know the name of this driver so I can download it from the dell site? Or can it be id'd through My Computer?

Btw, Dell seems to have changed its line up, I looked on the inspiron page and it looks like they now offer a different set of wifi cards.

Go to dell.com/support and enter your service tag, and view your system configuration?

Device manager should tell u exactly what you have installed.
