    white blue or black... your choice would be???

    help me decide last time i didnt have a colot choice makes it all the more hard to pick one

    one thing that seems to concern me are the new couple of posts about the paint peeling on the rubberized coatings???

    i think black would be better especially if you ever wanted to resell it later.

    i like the glossy white, which is also what i purchased.
    looks a lot nicer in my opinion.

    the black can get dirty quite easily from fingerprints and the microsatin probably wont last as long as the glossy cover

    I think white is the best choice because of 1: fingerprints and 2: delays on the other colours which are microsatin (dont show fingerprints).

    Plus it's really good looking in person, much like the Macbook.

    I'd go white... the only problem with white is that the silver inside of the inspiron doesn't contrast well with the white.

    But that's a personal choice.

    wish i could have seen the white in person.. is it painted on or is the actual plastic white all the way thorugh.. or if it chips or scratches is it black underneath.. they seem to just take black lids and either coat them or paint them?? thanks

    no, i think it is painted white, then added a protective plastic layer over it so you cant really scratch it.
    and it gives that reflective feel which i think looks nice.

    look around the forums for some pics of the glossy white! gives you some kind of idea since you cant visit a kiosk

    hard to tell from the pics.. i AM A ANAL M'FU%%ER WHEN IT COME TO things like paint on my car and the condition of my cell phones and laptops almost what i would consider ocd.. lol.... i just dont want to get the white then it scratches easy or is closer to like the paint on a car or similar where it can be very easily scratched and scuffed up...

    i thought they discontinued white? i know they did on the XPS 1330... something to do with problems in the consistency of the white that doesn't happen as much w/ the others.... i would assume the painting would be identical in terms of how it's done, am i wrong?
