    Because you're choosing the cheapest $719 base system to customize from. The other three options have Duos.

    its not giving me a choice of what to costumize from, I'm not on my computer because my room is being painted, some setting on here must be messed up.

    When you went to configure the laptop your choosing the wrong option. Theres like 4 to choose from and the cheapest option you can't change the processor. But the other ones have core duo processors standard.
