The WiFi Catcher requires Dell's Quickset software to function (it is available here). If you already have it installed, try reinstalling it; Quickset has not been the most reliable in my experience with it.

The WiFi catcher light will only light up when the computer is either off or in standby...

Ensure you have the latest 1535 BIOS if you have 4GB of RAM otherwise it doesn't work properly.

#1. wifi catcher needs to be enabled at the BIOS Level in order to work

#2. Wifi Catcher needs that physical Wifi switch to be switch to Wifi ON.

#3. WiFi catcher needs Dell QuickSet to be enabled and installed in order to function

The WiFi catcher needs All 3 of these things in order to work.

At First I thought it was a cool feature, But I never use it all. and If I ever need WiFi I am usually sure the Location has it Airport etc.

In the end I ended up Disabling in BIOS because even with the PC off it is using up some battery juice, just waiting for you to Press that Button.
