    Hey i just got my dell700m and i can figure out how to do file sharing with other computer in my house (thats all connect to a hub). i think it has to do with windows sp2 that came with my 700m. any suggestions?

    I think you meant can't! [8D]

    You need to share folders on your machines so they can be seen by others on the network. Then you can browse to the folders via My Network Places.

    Check the firewall setting on XP. When u install SP2 all the settings are set back to default which might restrict u to access other comps on the network...... just to check turn off the firewall for a while and then try connecting.... if it works then start working on the settings......
