    im sry if this hasas been mentioned before but i just recently installed windows vista with the express upgrade DVd. however when i press the media direct buttin while running windows nothing happens. how do you fix this?

    on the media direct dvd there is a folder called windowsmd3 run setup within this

    is there a way to download the file? i dont have the media direct CD.

    ive seen it on a bittorrent (2.6 gigs)but its far easier to call or chat with dell and order one

    It is shipped with the notebook, check your installation CDs again. If not then you can download it from Megaupload. Links can be found here.

    You have to make sure that Dell Quick Set is running. If it isn't then the button has no effect.
