    dell e1505 laptop

    drivers already uninstalled/reinstalled

so yesterday i was just messing with bluetooth trying to connect my phone to my computer. during the process my internet just died. i was connected via bluetooth. from that moment on i couldn't connect to anything via wireless. i know the networks are fine because i have other computers connected to the network and everything is up and running.

right now, when i go to my wireless network connection window and select a wireless network, it tries to connect but that's it. it doesn't actually connect. there are a couple instances where it would get to the "acquiring network address" stage, but it won't get an address it'll just stay there. there are also a couple instances where it actually got connected, but the internet would not work.

i have no idea what's wrong. i already backtracked myself and undo and disabled bluetooth, no idea why it's not connecting to anything anymore

    any suggestions?

make sure you have the right network key, sounds like it cant authenticate.

no network key unsecured network. either way, only like 1/10 does it actually get to the "acquiring network address" stage most of the time it just says it's trying to connect but never connects

    Try restarting the router.
