    wooohooo VOSTRO HAS LEFT LIMERICK!! Even with a new EDD of 25/09/07

    After an very very VERY long game of poker last night (ended at 4am) I decided to check my order status page.

    At this point I had already won £50 from the game and was over the moon! After checking the status page...the laptop had come alive! It was in Production.

    I now check this morning to find that it had zoomed right through past production and delivery preparation and it now says dispatched 31/08/07.

    the only problem is, on tuesday 28th i called up to see if i could get some compensation. the woman on the phone was really nice (Irish) and offered me £50 upon delivery of my order. However, I forgot to ask for this in writing :eek: . is it likely that they would have this info on their system and actually give me the £50?

    I was a sucker and forgot to get it in writing once, if you got a reference number than you should still be alright, if not ring up and complain that you were offered it and now they are refusing and you feel cheated.

    And how the hell did you get an Irish lady? i always get trasnfered to there call centre in India or wherever, did you ing a crtain number?

    Haha. You have left the 'order number' and 'customer number' in the url. :p I suppose that's fine, or you may wish to remove that as well.

    good to see that there are more and more Vostro 1700 delivered in europa.. Why mine still doesn't have any life in it i don't know. :(
