    yep... they delayed me first till the 14th (my original date was the 7th) then the 19th??? dont know what that was about... i checked this morning and its in the shipped status... just waiting for dhl tracking now... sweeeeetttt... i cant wait im so hoping i got a good 1680 screen... and no issues this time. this is my fourth system... the first three were vostro's.... i am so hoping this will be the winner, otherwise im just cancelling altogether and going another brand... im crossing my fingers...

    nice- have your exact same config-except the cpu- I love it.
    Don't know why everyone is complaining about the wsxga screen tho, mine is exactly like my e1505. I don't notice any graininess, but then again, have only had 1680x1050 since I've owned a laptop-lol-the e1505 was my first lappy!!!

    i think they just give a standard date, and you have to keep in mind that it's an estimated date and that there's a good chance you may recieve it by that day.

    nothing makes people more upset than saying a date and then not meeting it, people would be more mad if they were delayed for 3 days 10 times than 10 days 3 times.

    just called up and got all my discounts started as well.. lol the rep i spoke with today was pretty much stunned when he pulled up the case# from escalations.. for a whopping total of 450$ back to me... he was like ummmmm hang on for a second.. said he talked to his manager but because the notes were directly from escalations... he said he had to honor them... thus the reason i again stress talk to escalations with any major issues they WILL get resolved... i save dthe initial 325 plus the 450 off now...

    lol yeah the rep was kinda stunned i think... i recieved 300$ from escalations, 50 $ from the rep i spoke with prior, and 100$ credit for the upgrade to the wsxga screen from the reg xga version... they called back to confirm this was correct this afternoon and i said yup thats what i was told... they said i should see it by tues on my account...plus i used the inspiron 325$ off coupon... so a whopping total of 775 off the total....... i was very happy to say the least even if this screen has a bit of leakage or something i doubt ill complain much......
