wondering if that ram would work i got pc4300 just wondering if anyone knows i wanna order by yoday
-
It would but you wouldn't realize the difference in MHZ since you have a pc4300 running at 533 vs. the pc5400 running at 667MHZ. I would advise using the same ones and not mix and match.

I suggest getting RAM from www.newegg.com, they have better service and a nicer website in my opinion than Tiger Direct.
The E1705 can take DDR2-667, so that is what I recommend getting. It is relatively the same price as DDR2-533.

Yeah, there's no reason to ever pay more than $80 for a gig of pc5400 RAM. Stick with newegg, or I got 2gigs of Corsair from Fry's Outpost. Just look around

ya but thats canadian newegg aint

What's the deal with Fry's Outpost ? they are cheaper than NewEgg ( http://shop2.outpost.com/product/4779979) and they actually ship International and seem to accept International visa, am I dreaming ?
