i have been using my i9300 for 3 days now and everythings looks fine.. But i am not kinda sure if everything was ok with my screen.. While it is booting there seems to be a light leakage from the bottom of the screen... It is not bothering on desktop but if i set the background to plain black then you can kinda notice it.. but also it seems to disappear of i change my viewing angle..there is another thing concerns me, right where the clock is showing on the desktop(right bottom corner) that area looks darker..a little area is darker than the rest...is that whats called Dead Pixel, or something else..?
i have the samsung WXGA+ on i9300..also the bottom part of the screen gets a little hotter then other areas of teh screen?....
    Any suggestions??

The viewing angle on the I9300 is limited. If you sit too close then it looks like the areas around the outside are darker.

The bottem part of your screen getting hot is an issue I don't have experience in...at least I didn't notice it on mine.

I can say that the bottom of the screen does get hotter on mine, but i haven't figured out why.

On most laptops, you will have some sort of light leakage that you will notice on black backgrounds and boot up. If its not bothering you when you are doing normal activities, watching movies, playing games, etc, then I wouldn't worry about it.

If it is so bad that it is bothering you when you are using your laptop, you might want to a new screen. You'll still have light leakage, but it might have a reduced amount of light leakage.

The darker area around the clock isn't normal. There are several dead pixel tests online that you can try and see if it is a dead pixel.

I wouldn't even bother testing it. I would just call dell, and request a new screen.
