    hi i've ordered the following
    duo 1.83
    80 gig
    1 g ram
    integrated graphics
    dvd burner
    bluetooth
    webcam package

    6cell battery

    anyone with advice on battery life with this configuration or should i change to a 9 cell. I plan on carrying this in my briefcase and was originally looking at the weight issue but will change if there is a significant difference in battery life.

    Since you're using integrated graphics, the 6cell should suffice. Obviously, the 9cell will provide more juice and give you more time on the road, but depending on your needs, you can probably get by with the 6 cell.

    It all depends on your situation and on how much you plan to be away from the outlet. That you have integrated graphics will indeed help a little. If the 6 cell does not suffice and you decide you need the 9 cell. Check out ebay, as they tend to go a little cheaper on there.

    I have an extra 6 cell and 9 cell if you would like to purchase one. the 6 cell is less than a week old and the 9 cell is around 2 weeks old.
