-
running 3dmark again with the power setting fixed
-
4410 this time, 3dmark03!
-
is it a ultraportable?
-
yah its like 4.3lb yah its tiny 12.1 IN screen.. impressed!
ive had both this and the 700m and a dv5000t.. this rox! -
Not bad. Nice ultraportable, I've heard good things.
-
Now here's a question. Mine says Quadro in the bios. This right?
-
Not bad score about 300pts higher than my stock for 3dmark03. You should try 3dmark 06 as that will strain your computer more.
I like dell as you can get it the way you want, but this sony I got is pretty sweet. -

The Quadro NVS M120M is based on the Go7400 graphics chip. -
Well, it's ghosting right now, and slowly at that (had to go to CD cause the USB2 drive I have wont be recognized)
I can see exactly what it says in a bit... -
Can you OC with rivatuner?
-
but the x1400 is still more powerful?
-
Hmmm, bios says Quatro, but Windows does say Go 7400. Awesome
-
-
I'll work on that tomorrow! (Moving 40 gigs of music right now
)
-
Ok, this score is after I uninstalled the Dell crap, after I installed most of my programs.
3dMark2003 Score - 4441
1.83 Dual core
1 gig dual channel (667)
100gig 5400 drive
Nvidia Go 7400 -
Wow you got a score of 4441. Im getting a 1210, but with the 2.16 Core duo, 2GB @ 667, and the 7200RPM 100GB HD, I wonder what my setup would get. Thank you very much for giving that benchmark. It makes me feel alot better knowing that I will actually be able to do some quality gaming on this thing, since mine will be a bit better than yours. Im not gloating or anything...well yes, yes I am, so Im sorry, but thanks again!
-
HL2 was running at 30fps locked too, on all high with 2xAA and 4xAS. Thing of beauty
Also, I think it is kind of gfx card limited since the ones I've seen are so close, so you may not see that much of a jump in game over someone with a 1.66. Not quiet sure though, need a few more tests. You will def. fair better in the CPU tests though on 3dMark.
EDIT: haha, posted that and THEN saw the gloating line. Lol. -
Yeah the 1.66 vs the 2.16 CPU speed likley wont make too much of a difference in gameplay, but loading times will be alot better. I dont know about you, but when im in gaming mode, Im not a patient person. Me using a P4 2.4 no HT, 768MB Ram really dosent help me ether
I agree with you about the video card though. That and not having a 14' screen are the only downsides about this system. I really wish it had a 7600, arnt they twice as powerful as a 7400? But dont get me wrong it looks like a great system, and I really cant wait to get mine. -
Mine is always running at 1.83 it seems. Is there a way to have it clock to 1.0 when on battery? Cause on battery I'll mainly just be doing Word stuff...
Thanks! -
Lets see a 3dmark05 score...
-
Let me dl it, take a lil. bit
EDIT: Installing now. -
I got 2055 w 1.83 ghz, 7400 nvidia, 7200 rpm hd 100gb, 1gb ram after doing the pc-decrapifier...
xps 1210 out of box 3dmark! WOW
