Just wanted some input, as I've never used one of these things...
When you first set it up, you have the option of tying fingerprint data to the actual device (only 21 fingerprints allowed), or to your hard drive (unlimited number of fingerprints).
By the number of fingerprints, does that mean actual users, or sites on which you can use your fingerprint? What are the pros and cons of either choice?
The setup says you can only choose once, so I want to make the best choice possible.

actual users and id just store it in the device..no reason to have 21 fingers

I think it is number of fingers.
i.e. if you register two fingers for yourself then that is two.
If you create an account for the significant other and register two more you are at 4.
If you add another of your fingerprints to be able to login as your SO (for maintenance ;-) then that is probably 5.
If you use the same finger as your login to register a website I guess that remains at 5.
Storing on the sensor is probably more secure - though what happens if the sensor dies? or you move hard disk to another machine? -
Wow, this laptop has so many cool features. I think I'm going to buy one really soon.
d94, how did you get your laptop with all those extras for just $1233? -
