    xps M1730 estimated delivery date

    Hi,
    I purchased an m1730 laptop, fully maxed out on the 18th of September and have checked the estimated shipping date, and they have stated 22nd October. I'm just thinking isn't this a long time to wait? What happened to the 7-10 working days? Does it really take this long? Sorry if i sound like a noob, i would just like to find out what's happening as i have never bought a computer through dell before.

    Good question. I know some of the people who have purchased Alienwares recently are experiencing delays from the lack of 8800m GTX cards. Might be the same in the Dell house, since they are related. Then again, who knows. Call sales and see if there is a delay somewhere.
