Does the brand of the RAM really matter? I just received a new replacement for my m1330 and I noticed the 2gb and 1gb sticks are both Manufactured by hyundai. On my old one, the 2gb brand is Nanya and the 1 gb stick is Kingston. Should I swap out the 1 gb hyundai replace it with the 1 gb Kingston? Also the LED screen on my new m1330 seems brighter and more crisp for some reason. They are both Toshiba LCD 2306.

Why? I have different modules and I don't notice a difference.

Seriously, RAM brands do not matter as long as they have lifetime warranty. Just make sure the brand you buy is warrantied for life and you should be set.

Just make sure you use the same timings if you mix the RAM.

Some people will talk about having two RAM sticks the same will increase performance, The truth is it only increases performance by around 2-3%. Stick with the RAM you have. It doesn't matter
