    Ok, I am considering to buy xps1330 with t9300 cpu, an I would like to know is ther still this cpu whine issue with penryns cpus.

    My Vostro whines a bit, I think it's pretty much an epidemic with modern laptops.

    My Core Duo T2700 Acer does it too.
