I don't know why, but sometimes DVD players just like to not work. I typically use Memorex CD-Rs and DVD-Rs. But for some reason some DVD+Rs won't play on my $300 JVC DVD player but will play fine on my PS2 and computer. My suggestion would be to just try another brand. Also, if it was recorded using a DVD recorder instead of a burner, it may need to be finalized, but that wouldn't explain why it would work on another player. Like I said, you may just have to try a different brand, maybe Verbatim.

I would recommend sony and +r because they are more versitile than -r
