    Hi
I just bought xps 1530. I have an old acer with win xp. I used audacity to record internet radio sounds/songs.
With this new one, there is no wave out, and I cant record sounds(what i hear)

I did some research online and attempted these.

Tried R171789 driver from dell as this seems to be an update from dell itself for this issue but it doesnt recognise the device.

Next I downloaded from LG website the 95MB driver as some forums including this recommend. This did install but then I got an error messege that Device has stopped functioning. Then windows reinstalled the old driver itself.

Will somebody help me with hacking the INI file ?
