hey so i've had my 1530 since feb. i've noticed that now that my system fan has been running almost all the time now. my house is kept at a standard 70-75 via AC. i've got the extended battery in so its slightly elevated. wifi is off and i have the cpu throttling on(5%-100%). my fan is on right now, all i have open is firefox(8tabs) and itunes. wtf?

Try blasting some compressed air into the rear vent and see if any dust comes out.. you would be surprised how quickly the vents clog up.

if you don't know about your temps, google for 1 of these:

HDTune - benchmarking program but has a integrated thermometer.

HWMonitor - monitors other things such as fan speeds, CPU/GPU temps, etc.

    SpeedFan
