Hi everybody, been lurking here for a while gathering information and finally have something worth posting about...

After being in the "boxing" stage for almost three days (after going through the entire build process in a few hours... at least according to the website.) my new laptop is on the way. It's a Dell Inspiron XPS: 3.4Ghz, 512mb, 60gb 7200rpm, 15.4 wuxga, 128mb ATI 9700, 10/100/1000, 4x dvd+r/+rw/ 802.11b/g, 3yr warranty and 3yr accidental damage protection. I can't wait. I am replacing my desktops (office and "personal") with it, plus it will be used onsite with my clients. My last laptop was a Gateway (worked for them at the time...) 1450 with a 15" and 1.3 mobile p3. I never did care for it. I am pretty confident though that this one will be everything I hoped for and more. Once I get it and reload it with the proper OS and software I will post some pics and benchmarks as well as let everyone know what I think of it.
