**** you and your pricing games.

Today I log onto to Dell's website to admire my laptop only to find out it's $50 bucks cheaper now. DAMMIT!

And not only that, looking through that stuff i've realised that they're giving a 100gb hd instead of the 80, it's a a/b/g pro wireles instead of the b/g on mine, and they're giving a 9 cell instead of the 6 cell i'm supposed to have. ... DID I MENTION IT IS 50 BUCKS CHEAPER!?

the only the thing that's stopping from cancelling the order is that i'm financing this bugger, I don't wanna do too many credit checks or else my becon rating will get shot to hell. This really pis ses me off.

I completely understand. Dell consumer has frustrated me for years with these tactics, I really wish they'd clean this up a little bit, it upsets a lot of people.

Hey, you don't get the free printer now though . . . hehe, anyways this has been a long known problem with Dell's coupons and pricing schemes. I forget who said it first, but it's pretty darn good advice,
ONCE YOU BUY YOUR DELL DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GO BACK AND LOOK AT THE UPDATED PRICES!!!

You just need to remember: The price could have easily jumped up $50 too.

Yes, they can raise it to and then you will be happy since you got a deal. They change there prices when they need to or want to. It just depends when you buy the laptop which no one will know besides dell when the price will change.

Hehe, I believe I mensioned that in a thread a while back, to another customer who was also upset at the pricing games.

Ya, i've been waiting out for so long myself, for that 'perfect' price for components on a Dell machine that i'm at the point now, when I'm completely sure I want this laptop now, i'm just going to go ahead and buy it. I should have done that from the beginning but one thing lead to another and I ended up waiting for a new model ect, and might wait for this Yonah technology once I learn more about it. We'll see, I suppose.

Try not to get frustrated and just be happy with your machine. Done. (Be glad that there are no hardware issues as many have encountered - if that is the case).
