if you don't want people to ask specific questions about Dell then you should makeit known in the rules..
I posted here last nite, basically looking for advice on a prostar and dell 9100 in the hardware forum.
Then I posted a similar post here in dell with more specific questions about why dell had not put more than 1 module bay than it's predecessors,
if the chassis was plasticky feeling and other specific questions that i DID NOT ask in the hardware forums,
ANd for some unknown reason the post here was deleted.
This is really absurd, but I can see that specific questions aren't allowed and so I am moving on to find a forum that let's you ask questions like this. I saw nothing wrong with these questions..
I am very disappointed as I thought this was a pretty good informative forum.......t

I think you are over reacting. The administrators and moderators at this site are top notch. Everyone is very helpful, and all questions are welcome.
Are you sure your topic was deleted, and not just moved to a different category. If it is moved, you should receive an email telling you where it was moved to.
I am sorry you had a bad experience, and hope you will continue to be a part of these forums. -
I'm not sure who deleted it, but I apologize for the inconvienience. I was going to answer your response, but realized it was gone.

umm, not sure why that would have been done, I prefer to keep a loose nature to the forums and I'm sorry this happened because I saw that post and it was totally legit and placed appropriately.
I'll try and dig it up in the database and make it active.
whichever moderator deleted this, please let such a thing be as is next time []
[update] crap, the stupid bb software deletes stuff permanently and doesn't just set an inactive flag on the post, so i'm sorry but it's lost [V] -
I remember seeing the post, but did not delete it. When it comes back up, we will be sure to attend to it [
] Many apologies.

Sorry to hear that, but I wouldn't be so cynical. I have browsed the forums for about a month now, and the admins are really great. They post really insightful information and encourage participation by people of all levels of experience. I sincerely believe that your predicament was an isolated incident.
