    hi notebook fans from everywhere now we have to discuss the laptop war 1stly we need to going up and looking to the future on 2007 and 2008 :(In Our Discussion)
    1- Intel vs. AMD::amdintel:
    there is a rumor says that Intel will release new Merom on Q3 ok ok ... amd will going with Turion 64 x2 ok >>what are the differences?
    There are alot but I think intel will win this :centrino: because they will use 4mb L2 ,64-bit and 65nm. amd will use 1 mb L2 intead of 512kb and I think 90mn>> and there is a 1 way for amd .. alienware uses the desktop amd processor (athlon) but imagine that if dell used intel pentium Extreme Edition on XPS??!! ok however XPS will win:dell:

    2- Dell vs. Alienware, Sager
    my opinion I recommended dell for now and future because::: I will tell u later because we need to discuss this first.

    3- GPU:
    nVidia 7900GTX better than nVidia 7800 GTX with SLi no matter to compare why!

    thank

    You sound alittle Bias to me. AMD has been besting averything that Intel has put out in the processor field( in desktops) for quit some time, but when it comes to Notebooks Intel has been better. AMD is catching up. Something tells me that it has to do with the chipsets. I for one would own nothing but AMD in desktops. IN laptops I would prefer Intel, but would consider the Turion 64 bit.

    Well actually since dell kinda bought out Alienware, we don't exactly know where alienware is going as of present. And what's this about Extreme Edition on XPS? Man... those desktop chips (obviously, not made for notebooks) are starting at $1000 a piece. They're not really the investment unless you want the bleeding edge raw power.

    yeah thats true for the upper tier systems/cards, but is you think about it in bussiness terms, the lower cards will always make a better profit, where in my opinion, ati dominates.

    Hopefully dell will improve Aw's less than stellar support because right now I'd say of these three dell by far has the best warranty and support system. Sager is the cheapest. For now dell also offers the most power because they can get the parts before others. At the moment I'd say AW has the best styling but needs to work on their performance, pricing and support.

    Knifes: I know dell bought alienware but maybe next year they will produce new pcs ok we will see, about pee I said IMAGINE. :) :eek:
    for now we are waiting dell's high end 19" xps maybe it will with alienware

    otaku: I am with u Sager is not a big company like dell so Sager is not to bad but they design a big computer and heavier than XPS.
