Anyone have a suggestion for a 40" 4K monitor? Debating on upgrading from my 34" LG Ultrawide. Been looking at a few Samsungs. Any others to consider?

    System:

    ASUS Gene VI | 4770k w/ XSPC Raystorm | EVGA Titan X 12G-P4-2992-KR w/ EK-FC Waterblock | 16gb GSkill PC3 12800 | 1TB Samsung Pro SSD | 2x 5TB Toshiba HDD | Corsair 1200i PSU | Corsair Carbide Series Air 540

I went from my LG 34" curved Ultrawide to a Samsung UN40JU6700 curved. Awesome display, looks amazing, and does 4k @ 60hz @ 4:4:4 chroma through HDMI 2.0.

This is the way to go! Now I need to hook up my P771ZM and try gaming on my 48" JU6500 :p

@ssj92 how were you able to configure the input lag + the chroma stuff on your TV? What is the settings to look for in the menu?

If you want 4:4:4 with acceptable input lag (50-60ms?), you put the PC in HDMI 1 and turn on UHD color. Also label the input as DVI PC.

If you don't mind 4:2:2 and want good input lag (18-21ms?) Do the same thing you do for PC Mode but do not label the input as DVI PC, instead go to the settings and under general, enable GAME MODE.

Obviously it's not around 6-8ms input lag like a regular pc monitor but the 4k resolution is so good. ;)

Also to reduce input lag as much as possible I turn off everything I can. Turn off smart hub, also make sure fast boot is disabled so the tv has a clean bootup everytime you turn it on.
