    Hi,

Has anyone else tried to run 4k games on a 120hz monitor? If so, what cards do you use? I'm seriously considering getting two Titans (RTX) or would it be worth considering waiting for the next series?

Get a load of these results:

Do you think the Metrox Exodus and Rise of Tomb Raider results is with RTX (Ultra) enabled?

Those are good numbers in my point of view. But NO. RTX currently runs like cr*p so its disabled for sure. If you enable RTX those results will come down the hill

    Hi,

    Wow, it's THAT bad!!

I might as well wait for the Ampere cards. Let's hope they run 4k games at 120hz with RTX enabled over 60 FPS.

SLI is a dead/dying technology so buying two cards now is an absolute waste of money.

According to many reviews, NVLink performs better than traditional SLI and so for many games the two cards scale much better.

I'll still be buying them even if the push on the second card varies.

If you end up buying the 2 cards please post here some benchmarks with SLI activated and not. I'm curious about the performance difference
(I'm mainly curious about the nvlink and if it is really worth it)
Yes your best bet is wait for the new cards I would say

I game on a single 2080 Ti at 4K/144hz with G-Sync and I'm very happy with the performance. In games like BFV I use a mix of medium/ultra with 100 res scale and get around 120-140fps average. Easier to run games like Rainbow Six Siege or CS GO are no problem to exceed 144fps. More demanding single player titles, I am more than happy to game at far less than 144fps since they're not competitive type shooters and will crank the settings back up.

I mean it’s 4K. Getting 120-140fps is far from terrible performance.
