    Hello:

i sold my brother a gt70 laptop (sig ) it has now a gtx 970M 3gb he tells me he needs it for adobe illustrator, im wondering if its worth changing for a gtx 880m since i have it as a spare part (with the corresponding heatsink) , adobe illustrator minimum recommends 4gb vram.

Definitely not. The 970M is a more efficient, better performing and cooler GPU.
