    Hi
I know there is an easy to access HDD on the back on the laptop, but that is the secondary drive.
Somewhere inside this thing there is a HDD with the main OS on it, but I cannot locate it.
It's not in the CD tray, cos it still works as a CD player.
So where the heck is this thing located?
I've taken off the keyboard and cant see anything. Taken off the back and cant see anything.
    Please help

Have you tried to find the user's guide or service manual for this model? It will be listed in one of those sources.

That easy to access area can hold 2 HDDs stacked on top of each other.

There are 2 HDD slots in the HDD bay, and a MSATA under the keyboard and a second MSATA by the heatsinks, near the wifi card, under the big cover
